This is one of the funniest things we love to do as a family, is go to the dunes (or camp up on the rim) . We have made some fun and memorable memories. This weekend was one of the last ones before it get way to hot to go. So a bunch of friends of Brandon who he use to work with at classy went. It was so fun, we just bought a toy hauler so of course we had to try it out, and what not a better way then to take a trip to the dunes.

Valentines Day

Growing up My mom always did little thing for us on like Valentines day and little holidays, witch I loved Growing up. So it was Something I want to do for my Kids. This year Brandon and I got the kids those cards that sing. For Jaiden we got her the Disney princess and for Brighton it was lightening McQueen as well we got them candy and a stuffed animal to Play with. Jaiden Got a valentine Frog for her webkinz and Brighton got a little blue dog. It was so great to see there face when they can up stairs. Then we had pink heart pancakes for breakfast. As well we made cup cakes and dipped strawberries. It was so much fun.

OK Last year when I took the kids to see Santa I went by my self. Oh was that an experience, So this Year I asked Brandon to come with me. Which he did, and I'm so glad he did,Cause we get in line and where waiting, When one of the ladies come by to tell us that Santa is going on his 30 min. break, and where like the 3rd one in line. So Brandon take the kids to play in the playground, While I wait in line for Santa to come back.Which was so worth it cause Jaiden was so excited to see Santa, that's all she would talk about that day. So we get up to Santa and Jaiden jumps right on his lap and Starts to tell him what she wants for Christmas, But poor Brighton, wigged out. He did not want anything to do with Santa. So all in all I'm so glad Brandon was there so he could take the pictures while I saved Brighton from the big Scary man. :)

I just had to tell this really cute story about Jaiden. The other day we where looking at some webkinz on line, (one of the gifts that we might get her this year.) So I was going threw the animals asking which one she would like. For those that don't know what they are. ( like me i had to get the low down from my sister in law) Webkins are this stuffed animals that you buy and they come with a code so that you can go on line and adopt and then you play with them on line. So we get on line to look at them ( this being my first time too) This is how it went.

Me: Jaiden what animal do you like.
Jaiden: I like this one the crocodile
Me: Any others,
Jaiden: yes like this one and this one. (Pointing to a few others,
as we Scroll down)
Jaiden: I like the penguin.
Me: Oh we can't get that one it's retired. (They don't sell anymore):(
Jaiden: It's retarded?!
Me: lol no it's not retarded it's retired.

Then Today cause she wanted to look at them again.
Jaiden: (Scrolling threw.) I like this one and this one, not that one, that one is retarded (Retired), like this one, that ones retarded too.
Me trying not to laugh as she's doing this.

This is one of the many funny things that she says, I need to start writing this down in a journal for her so that someday she can look back and read them and laugh at her self.

There's like two major things that I keep under lock and key at our house so Jaiden can't get them. Witch are one scissors and two gum, Two things that as all know are the hairs dreaded ex. Well this Sunday While we were at Brandon's parents house for dinner. Jaiden found a pair a scissors in Lois's room, I mean she was up stairs in her bathroom, going throw draws, (witch Jaiden knows that she's not aloud to be up stairs let alone in Grandma's Lois's room.) Well to make a long story short, Brandon and I started to find her when she walks out on the landing to the stairs with her hands behind her back. (Big sign she's doing or is doing something she not allowed.)Well Brandon got to her first and showed us what was behind her back, witch where scissors. My heart just stopped, I was like oh no! Well Brandon walked her in to the bathroom and came out with a handful of hair. Witch Jaiden replied I was just combing my hair, mom. Well needless to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. She just cut a session of her hair to her shoulders, Witch still was a good seven inch's. So Half of her hair was long and the other chin to shoulder length. Well today we went to the hair salon and got it evened out. So her is the new Jaiden.

Halloween is by far my favorite holiday, I've loved it since i was little, Now I've got two reason to love it One it's Brandon's Birthday and two I get to experience the fun of dressing up with my family. I'm so glad Brandon has been game for dressing up with me and the Kids. Witch every year we come up with a theme Like or First year we did the Vampire Family, (Brandon being Dracula, me as his wife and Jaiden as or little bat.) Then the following was the Bee's ( for those Brandon was a Bee keeper and Jiden and I wear his bee's as well i was pregnant with Brighton. ) Then Last year Brandon and I picked or brains and thought of the being the Shrek characters from shrek to Fiona and donkey to puss and boots. It's been really fun,This year how ever I'm not sure if where going to do a theme? We've thought of one, but all ready Jaiden is asking to be a princess so we'll have to see. I also want to share some of my favorite pictures from over the year.

Every year we get together with some friends and carve pumpkins and make Carmel apples witch we always have fun.

Well I finally had my graduation for Pima. Friday we had the ceremony it was fun, cause my mom and dad came down, Jodi and the kids and Lois and Ernie came then we all went to eat at red lobster. It's was Great! Then on to other news we found out that we're having another.... Girl! Yahoo. So that leads me to the other news is we had to up grade or truck to an SUV, and my wonderful awesome husband got me a very nice Denali! It's so nice it's got two DVDs navigation, five screens,and 22" rims. So excited, and I've loved driving it! Well that's are news so far many exciting thing happening.

Long Time

K I know it's been a really long time since I've posted last sorry, I've just been way to busy. But good news is that I'm finally done with my schooling now on to the internship part woo ho. Then I'll been done done done, yea yea.So if it takes me a long time to post again I'm just really busy working for free. :( Well I'm going to post some pictures of the kids and yea there really old sorry i just don't have the time,) Plus i haven't really anything new to report, but now we do. But most of you already know, That where expecting baby number three! Today i Had my first doctor visit and so far so good. July 16Th i have my first ultra sound to see for sure how far along i am,but for now my due date is set for Feb 9Th. So that's the 411 for the Mariner Family. Sorry it took so long and short but I've got to busy kids that love to make mischief when I'm not looking.

Yea we finally got something so i can start putting pictures on our blog, Sorry they go way back to Easter. Hope you enjoy. We had so much fun over Easter Jaiden Loved the egg coloring part cause she was able to make a mess and not get in trouble...

Jaiden had fun finding eggs the next morning,

Jaiden got a princess dress from the Easter bunny with all the goodies from the crown to the necklaces, earrings and ring and you can't forget the magic wand and slippers! For the next to days that's all see wanted to where and not only during the day but to sleep too.

The Saturday before Easter we went out to queen creek to spend Easter with my family, and we had a picnic at the park and we hide eggs and candy, Jaiden and Brighton had a blast, Brighton especially loved the colorful eggs. :)

Just I quick Story about Jaiden that i thought was kind of cute.

This morning I threw the kid in the shower with me, and i started to shave my legs. Jaiden asked if she could have some shaving cream as well, so thinking that she would place it on her belly like soap i said yes, and gave her some. (i didn't see any harm in it) Well she went on to place her foot like mine up on the bath tub ledge and put the shave cream from hip to foot like she had say me do. Once finished she lifted her hand asking for the shaver. Witch i had to laugh cause she just knew in her little mind that she was going to get the razor. (but of course i did give it too her) :) I just though it was to cute so i had to share.

P.S. By the way I haven't posted any pictures lately is because, we no longer have our camera, we took it back and got a camcorder, cause now we can record and take still pic. but the down side is that it did not come with a cord to conceit to the computer so we've got to find one so as soon as we do, I'll start to post pic again.

Hi

So it's been awhile i know, I;m really bad at this blog thing. So i was just going to up date everyone. First My baby is no longer a baby :..( That's right Brighton turn one back on the sixth of march. And if that wasn't enough, he got his first tooth and started to walk a week before his birthday. Oh why do they have to grow up soo fast. :( I wish i could keep them small and cute for ever. but sadly they've got to grow up. boo-hoo... Well the other thing is my daughter Jaiden is going to be turning three, oh my gosh i just can't believe it. It really just flies by, again i wish i could keep them small. I'll admit that the terrible two where hard but i can kind of see the light at the end of the tunnel, yes she'll have her moments but then later she realizes that what she did was a no no, and she came back to me and tell me, "mom I'm sooo sorry for getting out of bed and making soup. " ( this was at ten at night, two hours after we had put her to bed, and ever night check on the kids before bed, when i walked down stairs and find Jaiden, in the bath room with toilet paper and corn starch as well these fish that color the bath water, all in my toilet. Yes i was very shocked to find her up let alone in the bathroom.) well like i said the next morning she told me that she was sorry for trying to make soup. And how after that heart filled apology could i be mad at her. It totally malted my heart. her news thing is that she'll come up to you and say she has a secrete, then she whispers oh so quite in your ear " I love with all my heart. or i love millions, and my fav i love you so much."

1. I Wanted to start a my own fashion line. I love to wear and experiment with clothes, i would love to learn to sew and make really cool clothes.

2. I would have loved to been a doctor but i just never wanted to put in the eight year of school.
i love the adrenalin rush and to know how to save someones life. As well i thought being a teacher would have been cool.

3. I love to learn, new, old any thing i just love to learn stuff, my favorite subject in high school where history, math and science.

4. I'm also a dreamer, i love the make believe, happy ever after, love sap stories.

5.I love the ocean and the rain, so i someday probably never but i would have loved to live in Washington state, or some other place by the ocean.

6. I've always wanted to travel, i wanted to go on a mission somewhere out state and then go back packing somewhere like Scott land Paris England Spain and even Africa. I wanted to live in new york city and California as well.

7. I love to do crafts and draw, I love to try and do different things and decorate my house with the things I've made or done. I've got so many projects started that i need to finish, from Brighton" to Jaiden's, to Brandon and Mine, down stairs and up stairs? You name it. but I'll get them done someday? (maybe) ;)

Lately Jaiden favorite thing to do now is to play games on the computer, her favorites are disney play house and coloring, on paint shop. So today she asked if she could color so we came in to the computer and she asked for me to color with her so i did and she told me to draw her and mommy and daddy and brother (Brighton), so we did then she said to draw Brighton with a bottle and her with a Popsicle. So we did. We'll i just thought it was cute so i had to post it. It goes mommy Jaiden Daddy and Brighton.

Los Vegas Babe!

I know it's been awhile since new years but I'm a little behind. Well Brandon and I went to Vegas For New years. It was so fun, we meet one of Brandon's missionary buddy and his wife there. (Tucker and Nichole Shupe) Well the first day we got there, there was a UFC fight going on. Brandon loves the UFC Fights. So needless to say he was very excited, well we went to the casino that the fight was at, and we where just seating and waiting to see if we could see anyone when Brandon and i thought we would just walk back stage (like we owned the Place) :) Well as we do out walks St- Pierre then Dean Lister, it was really cool, Brandon was very excited.

Well the next day we went to the mall and i found the cuties snow boots for Jaiden, i so wanted to get them for her but they were like 35.00 and kids just grow out of shoes so fast, plus I knew I could get them for alot cheaper in AZ, (since it snows like crazy here.) :) In witch I did on line for 10.00 dollars, but she really doesn't need snow boots, so i went for some really cute water shoes, more piratical, :)

Well that night i thought i was feeling lucky and if you know me i love to gamble, not stupidly though, like my limit was 20.00 dollars, so i started with 20, and won 90. 00 dollars at black jack and yes i walked away with it, so that was kind of fun. Well getting on to the new years part holy cow was that crazy I've never in my whole life had so much beer and alcohol spilt on me (yuck!) plus it was like a huge moss pit, we had gone out side to see the fire works but then we started to see all the crazy people, so we decided to turn around and go back, need less to say we never made it back till after midnight, even then we had to walk another mile just to get to our hotel, although i probably won't do new years in veges, again i had a blast. It was fun spending time with just Brandon, ( although i did miss Jaiden and Brighton like crazy.) Brandon always makes fun of me cause i have to call his mom or my mom in this case like fifty times a day. :) Well that was our Las Vegas trip, sorry it took so long to post.

OK i know it's been awhile since i wrote anything, way to much to do with two kids, one who loves to get into things and see how much of a big mess she can make for mom. Lol (she is so defiantly my child) Which leaves me the only time to set down and type is when there sleeping, and that's even hard, because there nap time i try and get chores done that i can't do why there a wake, ( which did i mention that she gets into everything) and then when there in bed for the night, it's Brandon and me time, and I just love those times! So need less to say the only time i get. Is if have to get up for something like one, the kids woke up in the middle of the night. Two, waking up to make Brandon's lunch and get him off to work. Then I'm up for a few hours, and can't go back to sleep, (guess my body just gets read to go for the day and won't shut down?) Anyhow it's like four in the morning so i thought i would put somethings down. hopefully it's make me tired. :) Plus I'm a terrible speller so i leave it save for a couple day and re read and then post so to check spelling and to make sure it makes since. (cause come on who in there right mind can spell and write at four in the morning?!) ;) well with that said moving on to better thing like my family!

Meeting Santa

Wow Who knew that Santa would be so hard to meet!

This year i wanted to take the kids to see santa at the mall, well i went to the festa mall because i heard there wasn't a wait. Well i had called my mom to go with me, and she said she would, but at the last minute she couldn't. :( So i just took them, well i got all the way up there i was like the second one and right before i got my camera out to open it and get it ready. Turned it on and nothing? Batters were died... i was so mad cause i had just changed them two days ago. So i was like crap what do i do now. Well the lady was like next, so i had to tell i would be right back, and she like well santa is leaving at 12:30 and it was 12:20. :( So i ran to the closest toy store to get batters, that where ten bucks for ten! i was standing in line when the cash register broke down and they had to fix it before the could check everyone else out, finally they checked me out, i gave them my money and left no recite and no change. ran all the way back to santa,( with the kids of corse) Get up there and it's like 12:28, and again the lady told me that santa will be leaving at 12:30. So i hurry and get brighton out and give him to santa. He did really well, well Jaiden is of looking at all the other stuff and she didn't want to see santa so i grab her and make her come over. wrong thing to do! She had a totally melt down. :( She started crying and i tried to make her happy but santa was not happy with me so i just hurryed and took the picture, then i was like one more, and then thats when brighton thought he would help jaiden and pulled her hair, so now she was crying even harder. Well after i the kids, before i could even turn around, santa was up and gone. So needless to say next time, i go i will diffentaly take more hands and batters:).

Let it snow, let it snow!

Or should i say let it rain i guess this will be the closes to snow we get here in Arizona. :) I'm definitely not complaining i love the rain. well Christmas is almost here! Yea I'm so excited for this year, because it's Brighton's first, and he just can't stay away from the tree and presents. Also this year Jaiden old enough to understand a little more about Christmas. Like last night for FHE. We did the manger, Brandon read out of Luke about the birth of Christ, and then we would place each figure in the manger. (It was so cute) I gave Jaiden Baby Jesus, the cow and Joseph, and she would lovingly cradle the baby Jesus and say baby Jesus. We also wanted to go to the temple to look at the Christmas lights, but that kind of got rained out. :) Well Saturday, we finally got our lights up on our house, plugged then in and..... nothing? I guess we blew a fuse?! So Brandon has been looking for a fuse to replace it but every were we go they don't have the right size. :( So our house has lights but at the time the don't work. lol Well a little more on this years holiday, it's a little different. For one we sent thanksgiving with my parents down here, in there new home in Queen Creek it's really nice, as well we're going to have Christmas there too. which works for us since Brandon has to work day after Christmas, and we don't go up tell Christmas day. we're all excited to try something different. well moving on to new years. I know kinda jumping the gun huh! But I'm just so excited for January, well first for new years where going to Vegas! I haven't been there since my 21st birthday.Brandon and I are meeting one of Brandon's missionary buddy and his wife there and going to party hardy?! (down side i have to leave my kids :( but they well be carefully watched over by my mom and dad. got to love grandparents.) Well that's that for our holidays. We just wanted to wish every one a very very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Crashed and Burned!

Oh my gosh this was like the scariest thing ever. It happen on thanksgiving, we ( i mean my whole family) were at my parents new place in queen creek. Just finished cleaning up and i was out side with Brandon, and Dusti (my sister for those who don't know her) :) took Jaiden and Ryker my nephew on ride on a four wheeler a little 90. When all of a sudden i heard this faint cry, at first i thought it was a laugh. well i walk to the road to make sure, when i see Ryker and Dusti holding Jaiden walking back to the house and heard her crying and saying mommy mommy, (break your heart cry). well when i reached them Jaiden was all scraped up, and somewhat bloody, mainly road rash. Well i guess what happen was Dusti was letting Ryker drive, but they weren't going that fast maybe five miles or so, when Ryker turned really really sharp and all three fell off. Well Ryker got a little goose egg on his head and Dusti got a huge bruise on her hip and her elbow my mom had to dig out some gravel, but i believe Jaiden got the worst of it.My poor sister felt really bad ya I'll a mitt that i want to yell at her, but it was just an accident. Well that pretty much the story. but we took these pictures the day after and her eye was swollen shut. Now she all better a little pink and missing half her eye brow, but i pretty sure that will grow back. Thank goodness for vitamin E!

The Amazing Standing Boy!

This was taken a while back but he did it he's standing. Now it seems that no matter what it is, chair, toy, or leg. He'll stand up on it, witch makes for alot of bumps and bruises. :.( But i have to give it to him he keeps trying no matter the how hard the fall. OH where does the time go! It just seems like yesterday we brought him home from the hospital, they grow way to fast.

This is my Mom, sister Dusti and of course Jaiden and Brighton. My kids love there grandmas and paps.

Well to catch you up on our family, we have two beautiful kids, Jaiden and Brighton, two and 7 months. We just moved into our second home about a month ago. Witch we love it so great. Brandon has a great job working at A.P.S. Which I'm Abel to stay at home with my kids and play. Jaiden is so fun right now she loves to dance and sing she definitely has Brandon's personalty, were Brighton is the laid back I'm cool with whatever mom attitude He's aways smiling and laughing at Jaiden. He definitely my snuggle bug. Jaiden Love to go go go. I'm trying to talk Brandon into letting me put her in dance or gymnastic? ( i just need to find a place first.)Brighton is scooting around he gets up on his knees but he thinks he's faster scooting. There a blast to watch as they explore and try new things out.

Well i guess I'll start from the beginning of how Brandon and I meet. Well it started with none other then a blind date.... yikes i hated blind dates but i just couldn't say no to the wonderful person who set us up. Wondering how bad i hated blind dates i screened his call, but what got me is he left me a message to call him back and i found his voice very very sexy. So i called him back witch is a big step for me being the shy person i am. Well we set the date for Saturday, and the whole time talking to my sister- in-law, i just new my luck would be some very short guy with big buck teeth and bright red hair come and pick me up for our date. Saturday came and an hour late for the date (longer story) he showed up, somehow Jodi talked me into letting her get the door so she could meet him too. LOl So in walks this guy short red hair?! of course i was thinking i knew it i knew it. That's when in walked this amazing six foot six feet tall dark handsome guy, with beautiful blue eyes! My heart just stopped (oh wee). Turned out the other guy was a friend of his that he hadn't seen in a very long time, who we were going to double with as well as Brandon's cousin, but she lost her cell phone and never made it to the date. So the double date turned out to be two guys and one girl. :) But i didn't care i was going out with a very cute guy. well we started the night of by going to sonic Brandon's favorite place in the world. Then we went to the orange groves, and climbed the wind mills(? i guess you would call them that?) After that we went back to his house to watch Shrek. this part of is funny when Brandon was make everyone pop corn and getting drinks, i sat down on the couch leaving room for Brandon to sit by me. well his buddy decide to set by me instead so poor Brandon had to set I'll by him self on the love set. To make the long storey short. Three weeks later we were engaged and three months later we were married in the Snowflake temple. Fallowing three months we were pregnant with our first!
